Due to a poor kernel implementation, your Mac is in severe danger of crashing when you unplug a K750i from it using the supplied USB cable.
To stop this happening, download and install K750i Grabber from here:-

...and reboot.
If you plug the phone in with the supplied cable the Mac sees it as camera and launches iPhoto. Cool.
If you’ve not got bluetooth built in (and I’ve not) you’ll need a dongle. I’ve got a very cheap “PCI” branded thing that was completely hopeless under Windows and “just works”™ on the Mac.
You need bluetooth for iSync and most other operations on the phone.
Make sure the phone has Bluetooth on and is ‘discoverable’ (on phone, Bluetooth > Visibility > On). Fireup the Bluetooth Setup Assistant. Click continue a couple of times, then tap in the number shown on the Mac into the phone when prompted. At every step, ensure all the boxes are ticked. If the Keyboard Setup Assistant pops up, cancel it. When the phone internet settings dialog pops up put in whatever you want for now. It won’t work, and we’ll fix it later. Then the Bluetooth Setup Assistant will exit.
Not much to do here, fire up iSync and tell it you want to sync everything from Mac to Phone. Note that photos of contacts won’t sync.
Follow these instructions to get Address Book support for SMS
Note that this works, even thou’ the phone shows no activity and there’s nothing in Sent Messages on the phone.
I got the following instructions from a forum post. I’ve modified them for the connection I use:
1. Download the following file: http://www.taniwha.org.uk/files/SonyEricssonGPRS2004-01a.sit
2. Extract the archive and move the script files into the specified folder which is /Library/Modem Scripts
3. Go to the Network Preferences in the System Preferences and create a new location, call it something sensible like “bluetooth-k750i-gprs-o2”
In the drop down box labelled “Show” above the tabs and beneath the Location drop down box, choose Network Port Configurations, and untick everything accept Bluetooth.
4. Go to the PPP tab, and type in the following:
Service Provider: In my case, O2 UK. Account Name: In my case, o2web Password: In my case, password. Telephone number (counter intuitively) should be the name of the APN: In my case, mobile.o2.co.uk
Leave the alternate number box blank.
5. Press the PPP Options button, and ensure that everything is left unticked, accept for Redial if busy, you can leave that unticked too if you like.
6. Next go to the TCP/IP tab, and in the Configure IPv4 drop down menu, choose Using PPP.
7. Next, go the Proxies tab, make sure everything is unticked.
8. Next click on the Bluetooth Modem tab, and in the modem drop-down box, choose the script Sony Ericsson CID1 if the CID of the connection you are using is infact 1.
To check what the CID of your chosen connection go to the Connectivity Menu>Data comm.>Data accounts and highlight the connection you want use, press the MORE button and go to Account info. Where is says External ID followed by a number, this number is you CID. If it is any higher that 5, you need to delete one of the connections between 1-5 and recreate this one which will take up the space of the deleted one. Then choose the appropriate modem for whichever CID your connection is using.
9. I believe that the “Enable error connection and compression in modem” can be either ticked or unticked, I leave it unticked. Leave the “Wait for dial tone before dialling” box unticked. The next two are your choice.
The built in SE browser is barely acceptable; even if you’re not planning to surf the web on the phone get Opera Mini. Download here.
When you’ve got it, open up the zip file and use bluetooth file transfer to send the largest file only (it’s about 100k) it to the phone. Save it in the applications folder.
Alternatively, use the phone’s built in browser and go to : http://mini.opera.com/
You can use your phone as a bluetooth remote for your Mac. I’m using it for iTunes after following these instructions:
Make your Mac a Bluetooth Zombie
Note that the first time you try to connect the phone to the Mac using the phone remote control application the mac will try to identify the keyboard layout. Simply quit this application to continue as obviously the mobile is not a keybaord and theerefore cannot be auto configured. The detection process will not occur again.
After you’ve set up a couple of these, if you find you need more (like VLC or EyeTV for instance) you can download the basic Sailing Remote package
If you want really cool stuff, like your screensaver to kick in and Adium to set your status to offline when you walk away from your ‘puter with your Bluetooth phone in your pocket, then you need the paid-for version of Sailing Remote, Sailing Clicker.
